Why won't the AI put bulleted lists or tables in my chapters?

Update to v1.8.0 — this was real and it was on us. Older versions instructed the AI to write pure prose, so lists came out messy and tables rarely appeared at all, no matter what you asked for. Since v1.8.0, non-fiction chapters explicitly allow clean structure where it serves the reader: bold, bulleted lists, numbered lists and simple tables. Fiction still defaults to prose (novels rarely want tables), but you can demand structure for any specific chapter with the Structure button on its row (see the Structure

article). If a chapter was generated with an older version, regenerate it to get the improved behavior.
