Why does AI-generated text avoid em dashes (—)? Can I turn that off?

Em dashes are the most recognizable "written by AI" tell, so BookyAI both instructs the AI to avoid them and cleans any that slip through, replacing them with commas.

Number ranges (1914–1918, pages 10–20) and hyphenated words (well-known) are never touched.

You can turn this off in Settings → uncheck "Write without em dashes".
