What does "Who colors it" change?

Color by Number •1 min read •6 views •Updated Oct 1, 2026

The line weight, the smallest space the print check allows, the number of colors on a page, how big the numbers can be, the size of mystery mosaic cells and how many regions a photo gets:

  • Toddlers (2 to 4): lines of 6 pt (5 or 7), spaces of 130 mm² and 8 mm across or more, 4 colors a page.
  • Kids (5 to 8): lines of 4 pt (3 or 5), spaces of 40 mm² and 4.5 mm across, 6 colors.
  • Bold and easy (adults): lines of 3 pt (2.5, 3.5 or 4), spaces of 25 mm² and 3.5 mm across, 8 colors.
  • Detailed (adults): lines of 1.25 pt (1, 1.5 or 2), spaces of 4 mm² and 1.3 mm across, 8 colors (many spaces are too small for a number: bold and easy suits color by number better).
  • Seniors, large and clear: lines of 4 pt (3 or 5), spaces of 40 mm² and 4.5 mm across, 6 colors.
