What can a character card hold besides name and personality?

A full inner life. Open a book, click "Codex" above the chapter list, expand a character card (the arrow on its row) and you'll find, next to age, personality, interests, strengths and fears: Profession/occupation, Backstory (where they come from), Desires (what they want), Struggles (what stands in their way), Secrets (what they hide) and Future (where their arc is heading). Everything you fill in is sent to the AI with every chapter it writes, so the character behaves like a person with a history, a goal and a wound — not a name that reacts randomly.
