The text before my first chapter heading disappeared when I imported my manuscript. Where did it go?

Update to v1.8.4 — it no longer disappears. Whatever sits before your first chapter heading (an opening letter, a note, title-page remnants) is now captured as its own section in the import preview, pre-labeled as Preface and included by default. You can rename it, point it at a different destination (Introduction, Dedication…), or set it to "Don't import" if it's something BookyAI regenerates anyway. Nothing from your manuscript is dropped silently anymore — every piece of text shows up in the preview for you to decide.
