My Introduction repeats the opening of Chapter 1 almost word for word. Why, and is it fixed?

BookyAI •1 min read •18 views •Updated Sep 4, 2026

When BookyAI wrote front and back matter, it showed the AI the beginning of Chapter 1 as an example of the book's voice and asked the Introduction to hook the reader, so the AI sometimes reworked that very opening. As of version 1.9.2 the Chapter 1 sample is marked strictly as a style reference the AI must not reuse, the Introduction receives a summary of what each chapter covers so it can present the chapters without retelling them, and any section that still repeats Chapter 1 is automatically written again. For a book you already have, open the Introduction from the workspace (Edit next to the section) and click Regenerate section.
