My imported book shows "Anonymous" as the author. How do I fix it?

Open the book and set the author in Book details → Author — exports pick it up immediately. As of version 1.8.5 this shouldn't happen for new imports: BookyAI reads the author from your Word document's own metadata (the Author field Word stores in every .docx) and pre-fills it in the import screen. If your Word file has no author in its metadata, or you import a Markdown/text file, just type the author name in the import screen — or any time later in Book details.
