My DOCX (Word) export has no page numbers. How do I get them?

Update to version 1.9.15 and export again. Earlier versions did not add a page-number footer to the Word file at all, although the PDF always had one. From 1.9.15 the DOCX has a centred page number at the bottom of every page, counting from the title page like the PDF, and placed clear of the edge so that print services such as KDP accept it. You do not have to change anything in your manuscript.
