My chapters sometimes end in the middle of a sentence or a scene. Why?

Every AI engine has a limit on how long one answer can be. When a chapter needed more than that, the engine stopped, and older versions kept the half chapter. From version 1.9.24, when any engine (Gemini, OpenAI, Grok, OpenRouter, Claude or Ollama) stops an answer because it ran out of room, BookyAI asks it to continue where it stopped, up to three times, and joins the parts without repeating text. Models that think before they write now get room for both the thinking and the chapter. In an older version, regenerate the chapter from the book's page, or choose a model that writes longer answers.
