I imported a book into a series earlier and the next volume does not seem to know its story. How do I fix that?

Open the imported book's workspace. On the Series card, an amber note says "Story so far and characters not prepared yet" when the preparation has not run; click "Prepare now". BookyAI then summarises every chapter and, for fiction, extracts the characters into the series codex. When the note turns grey with a date, the next volume will use that story so far. You can run "Prepare again" any time after editing the book.
