How long does it take to make the mazes?

The mazes are carved in the background while you work. The "Ready to publish" card shows "carving N mazes…", each maze being made shows "Carving…" in the list, and each one appears as soon as it is ready. Big books with fine paths (Expert, Extreme) take longer than children's books.
