How does BookyAI make sure each chapter reaches the number of words I chose?
From version 1.9.24, when the book's words per chapter is 1,500 or more, the length is a minimum the AI is asked to reach ("at least" that many words), not a rough target. A chapter of more than 2,000 words is written in sections of about 1,300 words, each covering its own part of the chapter's plan. If a section or the chapter comes back clearly under its length, BookyAI asks the AI to continue from where it stopped, up to three times, and rejects a continuation that only repeats what is already there. The chapter is asked again from the start only when the answer is almost empty or goes round in circles. Chapters under 1,500 words are written exactly as before. Some models write somewhat more than asked; that is left as it is.
