Do I have to run BookyAI with my VPN off all the time?

BookyAI •1 min read •27 views •Updated Aug 26, 2026

No. You only need the license server reachable at two moments: when you activate, and at an occasional background re-check. After a successful check, BookyAI works for up to 30 days without reaching the server at all (the offline grace window). Practical routine for VPN users: turn the VPN off for a minute, open BookyAI, let it start, turn

the VPN back on.
