Code blocks in my technical book come out broken in the exports: indentation lost, lines overlapping in the ebook, ``` printed in Word. Why?
This was a bug, fixed in version 1.9.6. Two things were wrong: a clean-up pass removed the leading spaces from code before the chapter was saved, and the exports had no styling for code, so long lines ran past the page edge and ebook readers drew them over the next page. Since 1.9.6 code keeps its indentation, code blocks wrap inside a shaded monospace box in EPUB, PDF, Kindle and HTML, and Word exports get proper code paragraphs instead of the ``` markers. Chapters generated before the update have already lost their indentation, so regenerate them or paste the code back in the editor after updating.
