Yes. Open the book, click "Codex" above the chapter list, and in the Characters tab expand a character card (the arrow on its row). Next to the fields you'll find a portrait box with a "Portrait" button — one click and the AI paints a head-and-shoulders portrait from the card's traits. Portraits use your image API key, exactly like book covers: an OpenAI key gives the best results, and a free Gemini key works too. You can regenerate ("Redo") any time.
