Are my own section headings and added sections translated in my translated editions?

Yes, from version 1.9.24. A translated edition copies the sections you added and translates them, together with any heading you renamed (for example "Special Thanks" instead of "Acknowledgments"). When you delete a section you added in the original book, it is removed from its editions as well.
