Activation says "The license server had a problem (HTTP 5xx) — your key is fine."

Exactly what it says: your key is valid, our server had a momentary problem. Wait a minute and press Activate again. If it persists for more than a few minutes, contact support — that's a server-side incident on our end, not anything on your computer.
